Oprah Winfrey is Nieuw Statendam Cruise Ship Godmother
Media mogul, producer, actress and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey will serve as the godmother of Holland America Line’s Nieuw Statendam in 2019, at a date to be announced.
Winfrey has been closely associated with HAL in recent years thanks to a partnership between the cruise line and ‘O, The Oprah Magazine.’ She appeared on the first cruise as part of that partnership, in Alaska in 2017.
